Podcast: A peek inside a state-of-the-art wine room

Before this whole quarantine hit, I had the pleasure of visiting my long-time family friend Jim Quinn to check out his lavish wine room.

This was my first time visiting Quinn’s wine room in his new house, but I was familiar with his old one at his previous place. I was excited to see the upgrades and improvements, to say the least.

After a simple dinner of pizza we sat down in the wine room, which felt like sitting inside of a grape, and discussed his collection with his wife Mary, my boyfriend Fabi, my mother Mary, my father Ralph and my brother Jack.

What ensued was an evening of laughter and fun amongst old friends enjoying some (read: many) bottles of wine. I hope you can hear in this podcast how much fun we had, and I hope it’ll bring some happiness and positivity to your day.

Below are some photos taken by Fabi of the room to go along with the podcast!

Quinn opening a bottle next to his extravagant decanter.
Quinn also keeps a fully stocked bar for guests who prefer mixed drinks.
Riedel glasses hanging within an easy reach.
This is just one portion of the wines that line the walls of Quinn’s room.
Fabi calls this photo “The Damage,” which is a pretty fitting title.
