Throughout my college years, it has been drilled into my mind to have a digital footprint. My professors made it very clear that while a digital presence is not the only thing ill need to secure a job, but it can be the make it or break it.

Hiring managers want to find everything and anything about their candidates. They look at personal and professional social media accounts. They look for websites and past work.

It’s essential to have a website created that showcases the work you’ve done over the years. If it’s been published, upload it. If it’s an article from a class, upload it. Any work that showcases your skills should be broadcasted all across the website.
