Yes, Take Risks.

Today I was having a conversation with someone that has been unmotivated for a few years and is lost. They’ve been stuck in the same position, in a standstill for three years now.

They don’t know what they want to do with their life. Which I think anyone their 20’s can relate to.

It’s hard seeing those you went to high school with engaged, married, moving across the country for a job and you’re still in the same small town you grew up in.

I can imagine how that may feel, but at the end of the day, that exact feeling should be your driving force. It should be pushing you to improve and wanting more for yourself.

You can’t wish for something to happen. You’ll be waiting on a shooting star that won’t pass by. It takes effort and hard work to make things happen.

I’m lucky. I’ve always had a fear of not making something out of myself from a very young age. I’ve always wanted to make my younger self proud. I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself if I didn’t take risks and try my hardest.

That’s why I plan on moving to New York City. It’s a risk. But my younger self would be so proud and impressed. That’s my driving force. What’s yours?
