Sunday calls for a family gathering! This Sunday I decided to send out a mass text to the family inviting them to a family pizza making night. I made a big pot of pizza sauce, and bought a bunch of pizza toppings including; cheese, pepperoni, sausage, spinach, arugula, tomatoes, onions, garlic, broccoli, artichokes, olives, mushrooms, red peppers, and banana peppers. We split the dough and everyone got to personalize their own pizza!

As you read in the title, we made 10 different pizzas and tasted them all at the end. This was a great way to bring everyone together in this troublesome time (Don’t worry, none of us are sick nor do any of us have the virus). We blasted some music in the background and got to cooking!

I chose to make a veggie pizza, which is my new favorite. I topped it with broccoli, banana peppers, mushrooms, onions and spinach, with a hint of garlic salt. However, I think my favorite pizza of the night was the all white pizza. It was topped with olive oil, minced garlic, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, black pepper, and a sprinkle of garlic salt to finish it off. I usually don’t go for the white pizza but this one had the perfect ratio of garlic to cheese!

My family laughed the whole time and loved the experience. Surprisingly this was the first time we’ve made pizza all together! Family bonding is so important for families to become closer and make memories. I’m lucky to have a family that enjoys coming together to do things like this, and hopefully you are too. I highly recommend this activity for you and your family and as always, happy cooking!! 🙂
