The unrelenting train of reality hit me with a force I didn’t know was reachable upon the return of spring break. Although many things were accomplished, I was still left with a feeling of unfulfillment.
“How could one week feel like the blink of an eye?” I disappointedly asked myself on Sunday night. Then I looked back on the footage and quickly realized that a lot was condensed within those seven days.
Sebastn & I crafted an outro track for our project that sounds absolutely extravagant. We then met the actors and actresses for our short film Stuck on Serenity and are extremely grateful that they’re very coordinated and nice humans in general.
After leaving Sebs place on Grand Island Tuesday night, I worked an early shift at Rite Aid and that night I treated myself to some chinese food. The next day meant it was time to prepare for my mom and I’s trip to Pittsburgh to see John Mayer!
I had never been to Pittsburgh before and had no idea of its geographical madness; the slopes of the hills are quite drastic! We visited Blue Slide Park which now doubles as a memorial to the late Mac Miller who released a project named after the park.
The week of spring break with a mini vacation gave my mind a mental reset it hasn’t seen in quite some time. Despite the fact that I’m currently suffering a temporary “come down” from the hype of my adventures, there’s a finite amount of time until I feel refreshed vigorously to go up against the face of monotony again.
I have a grand weekend of work ahead of me regarding Stuck on Serenity. We have our first weekend of filming. I could tell that Conor aka Saturday Session is nervous but I know things will fall into place & even if they don’t we’re very accurate when shooting from the hip so it’ll all work out in the end.
