When I first read about the statement that Hayley Williams made about Ticketmaster last weekend at Paramore’s concert in Cardiff, Wales, I wasn’t shocked, but simply excited to see that yet again, Hayley is here for her fans.

Vito also connects the quote to the uproar made about Ticketmaster’s mess regarding tickets for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
Despite Hayley and Taylor having little in common in terms of their musical expression, seeing two incredibly strong women in the music industry standing with each other against a massive corporation felt so good to watch. It made me feel more confident in my choice to enter the music industry, even though it has historically been a difficult industry to enter at all, but especially so for women.
While the events of the Eras Tour Ticketmaster storm has since long passed, the memories of it have by no means left the public conscience. Music fans like me who want to see their favorite artists live without bankrupting themselves know what happened and are furious with Ticketmaster.
Sending all the love to both Hayley and Taylor as they are forced to navigate the difficult ticketing landscape created by Ticketmaster. We as fans are grateful to see artists standing up for the thoughts and lives of their fanbase.
