Artist Spotlight: The AutistiX

Happy Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month everyone!

As a way of celebrating here at TKAA, I wanted to highlight autistic musicians in the alternative music scene, and my search led me to find The AutistiX!

The AutistiX are a band from London, England made up of both autistic and neurotypical members, and they write about many topics, not just autism. However, they are not afraid to talk about their experiences with autism and neurodivergence.

They may not be traditional emo or punk like the bands I usually talk about, but they’ve got a great rock flavor that I think you guys will love. I know I do!

To me, their sound is somewhere between dad rock and indie rock, which I am totally vibing with, especially this time of year!

If you want to listen to The AutistiX to support some fantastic autistic artists this month, check out the Listen For Yourself tab, or find them on all major streaming services.

To read more about their stories and music, you can check out their website, linked here. You can also find all their social media pages from their website, as well!
