Spend a Day in Parc de la Ciutadella

๐Ÿ“Passeig de Picasso, 21, 08003 Barcelona, Spain

When I went to Arc de Triomf I strolled down the walkway and stumbled upon Parc de la Ciutadella.

Parc de la Ciutadella reminded me of New York City’s Central Park when I first entered. People were having picnics and hanging out on the grass with friends.

Parc de la Ciutadella is so lively with so many musicians and shows playing in every corner. I kept walking through the enormous park and began to fall more in love with it.

Parc de la Ciutadella is home to a wide variety of plant life, as well as a lake.

You can rent a row boat for just 5 Euros and enjoy the peacefulness away from the busy city.

In addition, the park is home to the Barcelona Zoo, which is one of the oldest zoos in Europe.

Cascada Monumental

A beautiful fountain that will remind you of the Trevi Fountain in Rome.

Head over to La Barceloneta

Barcelona’s Top Beach

La Barceloneta or Barceloneta Beach Spain is one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city of Barcelona.

I went to Barcelona in March, so it wasn’t really sunbathing weather. But, during the summer this beach is usually bumping.

Barceloneta Beach is located in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain.

Barceloneta is the most famous beach in all of Barcelona.

Barcelona is known for their crazy night-life scene. If you are going to Barcelona you will for sure end up in La Barceloneta because this area is where the most popular clubs are.

Like I said night-life in Barcelona is wild, you should be prepared to be out until 6 a.m. The clubs in Barceloneta are right on the board walk, so once you leave you can watch a beautiful Mediterranean Sea sunrise right on the sand!

Admire the lines of yachts by Port Ville
