This is a game that needs no introduction. Who doesn’t love catapulting into oversized Soccer balls? This alongside with a great development team has made Rocket League one of the pillars of modern esports.
In 2023 Rocket League dominated, from great competitive updates and fun collabs the game has never been better. From Star Wars to Cars the game has more Replayability and randomness in every game.

This low bar to entry alongside honestly great gunplay and tactical gameplay carries PUBG Mobile. As a casual player like me i get absolutely dominated by players from around the world. And that attests to the world wide fame of this game. The US isn’t even in the top 5 countries for players.
Last year PUBG’s biggest Tournament was There PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023. This peaked at 980,123 views, and while this is the first time a global series has failed to break 100k views. This event was still majorly successful.

This was a surprise to me, as i have never herd of this game before. Arena of Valor is a 5v5 mobile MOBA, with similar vibes to League of Legends or Smite.
I am not the biggest fan of MOBA games, However Arena of valor has has a steady and continuous growth. This years biggest tournament was the biggest to date with viewership peaking at around 974,624 viewers.
Team Saigon Phantom was able to take the victory and snag the impressive $200,000 prize for first place.

It seems our blocky friend cant keep his head out of trouble my causing chaos in this list. When gathering the data for this article we sourced our data from esports charts. According to them, the largest Minecraft event was held during Twitch Rivals: Hunt & Run w/ IlloJuan, ft. Minecraft.
This event wasn’t small either. They peaked at around 516,315 viewers and played for an impressive prize pool of $100,00 for first place.
Illojuan is one of if not the largest Spanish Minecraft streamers. He boast an impressive 4 million followers on Twitch.

CS2 isn’t in the best condition right now. With many wanting for more content, however that doesn’t mean CS2 esports has been any less hype. The biggest tournament in counterstrike history happened in Stockholm during 2021. However The biggest CS2 major happened just this year in 2024.
PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 was an absolutely stunning and a great example of Counterstrike. With an insane 1,853,954 views at peak viewership. The tournament had a total of $1,250,000 prize pool. The wining team Natus Vincere taking home $500,000.
