Sunday Spins: February 13th, 2022
Happy Sunday, friends!
This Sunday I’m coming to you with one of my favorite groups: Crosby, Stills & Nash.
Spinning Today: Their studio debut album, “Crosby, Stills & Nash” which was released in 1969.
Side One:
- Suite: Judy Blue Eyes
- Marrakesh Express
- Guinnevere
- You Don’t Have to Cry
- Pre-Road Downs
Side Two:
- Wooden Ships
- Lady of the Island
- Helplessly Hoping
- Long Time Gone
- 49 Bye-Byes
This album reminds me of our family trip to the Adirondacks back in 2014? 2015? I can’t seem to remember. Anyways, I played the absolute crap out of this album during this trip. Along with my other favorite folk-y albums. When listening, I can close my eyes and see the beautiful log cabin we stayed in & the brightly colored trees that surrounded us. Wish I could go back.
My favorites off this album have to be “Marrakesh Express” (comin’ in hot at #1), then Suite: Judy Blue Eyes, Helplessly Hoping & Pre-Road Downs – in no specific order. They’re all such good songs filled with killer harmonies.
You can always find songs off this album on my “#FallVibes” playlist, for sure.
Love this album? What songs are you jamming to today? Let me know in the comments! Happy Spinning 🙂
Peace out ☮︎

BTW, did you know that Suite: Judy Blue Eyes took its inspiration from Judy Collins?
