Recreating Twiggy’s 1960 look

Hi friends! Happy Sunday!

SO, today, I decided to do something a little different for today’s post. 

I’m gonna try make-up. I like to think I’m somewhat decent at doing my own
“simple” makeup, BUT I’m going to attempt a look by the famous 1960’s English model, Twiggy.

Twiggy is well known for her bold make-up looks that include eye makeup with a black line in her crease, a pale eyeshadow, cat-eye liner, and lots of mascara on her top and bottom lashes. 

Today, I will be attempting this look!

First things first, I needed to pick up my supplies. I had the eyeliner and mascara, but I needed to find a fitting *pale eyeshadow*. So off to Walmart we go. 

Next, I ran on home and was ready to get started. I studied the photo super close and began my work. I’m not gonna lie, it was not going too hot. Drawing on “fake” bottom lashes are HARD.

After about like an hour, I was finished! Here’s the final look, side-by-side!

I’ll be honest, it’s not the BEST, but its not bad!!!
