Dan Orzechowski has lived in the Fredonia/Dunkirk community for the past four years, but only in the past year has he had the opportunity (aka his internships and this capstone!) to to take a real look at the communities surrounding the SUNY Fredonia campus.

It’s easy to sometimes brush off the Beach Boys as a happy surf and car oldies group from the early ’60s (especially if you see what Mike Love is doing with the band today). But there is a lot more to the band’s music, and Colin Hart is ready to explore that.

Victor Schmitt-Bush has always had an interest in philosophy. In fact, he’s a journalism-philosophy double major. So perhaps it should be no surprise that his capstone focuses on how people think at Fredonia. Is the campus a haven for freedom of thought, or is is something else?
