Hi, my name is Amarah Ghori and I’m a Junior Media Management major at SUNY Fredonia. I’m starting this page because I really want to understand my culture better. My mom is from Jamaica and my dad is from Pakistan. They’re both great cooks and with this site, I want to challenge myself to recreate a lot of the dishes that I grew up having from them. Each week I will incorporate different recipes and spices, as well as give a brief history on them. With this site, we’ll learn together! My recipes will have a step-by-step guide and they’ll be easy to follow along.
