I thought I’ll take this time to express my thoughts…pertaining to love of course.<\/p>\n

Love today….<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In this current generation of young people, specifically in the U.S.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There is so much struggle and immaturity.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Being on social media alone the dating scene is a bit wild.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are way past the era of catfishes and fake accounts, and maybe “exposing”.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are now experiencing, things on social media like lack of privacy, stalking, emotional and social cheating, and even false livelihoods.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How did we get here?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I mean since when did it become a thing<\/p>\n

to be openly and intentionally cold hearted?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So many people take pride in not being in love and see being single and living carelessly.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I’m not saying that its bad to be single and just have fun, but its become more of an adoptive lifestyle for many young people.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Rather than actually doing what we want to do whether or not that means a relationship is included.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Who created this handbook? Why can’t we just love the person we want to love\/ What is so hard with being faithful and being loving?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Granted, not all our experiences in love is going to be perfect or is going to be great.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, that’s the beauty in life being able to grow and learn. I feel as though dating doesn’t and shouldn’t have all these rules in place.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Love is not objective, it’s different for everyone.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I think we have entered part of our lives where we have overconsumed a lot of media and a lot of perceptions from other peoples lives, we haven’t paid much attention to what our lives contain.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This weird obsession of always using other sources to get a perspective or to validate what we’re feeling and experiencing, but we never look inwards and use what we know and how we feel to be enough to confirm it.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I hope that we all experience and have the space to feel what we feel and love the people we genuinely want to.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

No matter what society says.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
