As every other Scream film in the franchise, Scream VI is incredibly gory. However they really pumped it up a notch or two with the blood and gore. I had such a great time watching this with my roommate. There were so many scenes that took us by surprise and had us yelling and gasping at the TV. I would not recommend watching this film around children and the content is disturbing and explicit.
Ratings/Award(s)
I absolutely loved the casting for this film, they made the horror experience feel so real. However, as a faint hearted person, the gore was almost a little too intense for me. There is such a rollercoaster of emotions throughout the film, I would definitely watch again. Personally, I’ll be rating this film 4.7 out of 5 stars.
Rotten Tomatoes gave this film 76% on their tomatometer as well as 91% on the audience score. The film received 6.7 out of 10 stars on IMDb.
Since the film is still pretty new, it has not won any awards yet. However they’re nominated for three.
