The complexity of this thriller will keep you thinking for the rest of the night which makes sense seeing as it is a M. Night Shyamalan film. He’s created many favorite films of mine including Signs, Lady in the Water, The Village, Split, and many more. I feel like this movie is best watched with others because the plot can be quite confusing at times. It was really interesting to watch with my friends because afterwards we were able to dig deeper into the hidden messages together and figure some things out.

The idea behind this film, in my opinion, is really intriguing and unique. It can be difficult to follow, so you should definitely pay close attention to the movie. The film was engaging since there were a lot of unexpected and disturbing twists. I personally rate this movie a 4 out of 5 stars.
Old received an audience score of 53% and a tomatometer rating of 50% on Rotten Tomatoes. On IMDb, it received a 5.8 out of 10 rating.

Summary
The film’s story revolves around a family on vacation which joins a bus with a number of other families and couples to go to a secluded island surrounded by enormous cliffs. They start to notice something is wrong as time goes on. The situation worsens after they understand they have no chance of escaping due to mysterious powers within the cliff. They are aging at an uncontrollable rate while their weaknesses are getting the best of them.
When fear and panic start to take hold, people start to progressively spiral out of control and issues continue to worsen. Consequently, it develops into a life-or-death crisis. The mystery of this thriller is so intricate, there are constant plot twists.
