Ratings/Award(s)
This is one of the few movies that makes me emotional every time I watch it. Everything about the Asian depiction in the movie, in my opinion, was so brilliantly done. Although I don’t frequently watch romantic films, Crazy Rich Asians is one of my favorites. Personally, I’d give this film a score of 4 out of 5.
Rotten Tomatoes scored this movie a 91% tomatometer score and a 76% audience score. IMDb gave it a 6.9 out of 10 star rating.
The 14 awards given to Crazy Rich Asians were well-deserved. A few of these Awards include the Special Achievement Award given by the African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA), the Excellence in Production Design Award given by the Art Directors Guild, the Artios Award given by the Casting Society of America in the United States, as well as numerous others!
