This movie is based on a true story of adventure and survival. Not only is the plot engaging, but the cinematography is truly breath taking as well. I think this is a great movie to watch with others because of the adventurous thrill. If you’re not a faint-hearted person like I am, it’s also exciting to watch alone.

I think that this movie has a great plot with an amazing cast and incredible cinematography. Even though it’s an adventurous movie based on survival, there are subtle moments of comedic relief which are always my favorite. I feel like I can usually easily predict what happens next in movies, but this one kept surprising me which was really refreshing. I personally rate this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Jungle won an award for best cinematography by the Australian Film Critics Association Awards. An award was also won for best dramatic feature by Byron Bay International Film Festival.
Summary
This film is based on a true story of adventure and survival. It starts with Israeli explorer Yossi Ghinsberg (Daniel Radcliffe) and his buddies Kevin and Marcus on their backpacking trip in La Paz, Bolivia. Yossi is approached by a geologist named Karl about taking an expedition into the Amazon Rainforest to find a lost tribe and other discoveries. However, the trip doesn’t go as planned.
When the group is split up due to different circumstances, we follow Yossi and his fight for survival. He’s faced with many obstacles such as the rainforests’s fast changing weather conditions, wildlife, injuries, malnutrition, hallucinations, troubles with navigation and so much more.
