Time to Destress! ♡

Distractions are necessary!

Find things that will give you joy like watching that movie or tv show that you’ve had saved on your “watchlist” for months! You could even take a warm bath and take time to relax and soothe the body. Another option is to take up a new hobby or start to study subjects you have always been interested in. Make sure that the subject is fun for you, not like you’re going to add more stressors to your plate. Find what works for you: consider everything that you enjoy and try it all to see what fits.

One of my favorite ways to relax while at college is to make a pile of my Squishmallows and get a warm blanket and watch movies on my laptop. Though they are cute, they do make for a great pillow/back rest; I also use my Squishmallows as pillows when I sleep. They don’t only have to be used as pillows either, I also use them as “decoration” for my bed and I think it’s fun to use them when I take photographs.

Today’s feature is Winnie the Walrus (12in). Winnie was originally released in the Valentine’s Day Squad. When first released she had three hearts embroidered on her right side in pink, blue and red. However, I have the version of Winnie without the hearts. I was actually able to get Winnie online from Walmart for $12 with Black Friday deals. Personally, I enjoy the larger sizes of Squishmallows (12in and 16in) so that I can use them to prop myself up or just use them as a pillow.
