Photographing Fun ♡

One of my favorite things about this blog is that I am able to take pictures by myself for my content. I really enjoy photography and I have since I was in high school. I am not the best photographer, but I do know some basics. You don’t necessarily need a fancy camera to photograph, especially when photographing Squishmallows! I have been using my iPhone SE 2020 camera to shoot photographs for all of my blog posts. It is important to keep an “aesthetic” and try to keep all of the photographs more “uniform” by editing the photos and including a precept on each photo.

I would love to show you how I photograph my Squishmallows. I find photographing the Squishmallows and creating a story with them, to be my favorite part of the process. The featured image above is clearly photoshopped…I KNOW! Crazy right?! It’s not like three plushies are running through the streets of New York City. This process was a little different then setting up my other Squishmallow photoshoots that you have seen, but I find it more fun! I used the app Procreate to create my photograph. Procreate is great for when I am drawing Squishmallows, like in the header of the blog page. I have also drawn all of the Squishmallows that are currently on my ISO list posted on my Instagram. (Go check it out!)

Today’s feature is all of the Spiderman Squishmallows from the Spiderman and Friends Squad (7in). The Spiderman and Friends Squad was first released was at the store Five Below around October 2021.
