This past weekend, Indianapolis played host to the NBA All Star Game. The game as usual gave the players a chance to show off their offensive talents, as defense is scarce in the game.

Damian Lillard showed off his ridiculous range in the game, on several occasions taking shots from half court. He piled up 39 points on the night and was given the MVP award for the game.

On the losing side of the game, Karl Anthony-Towns put up 50 points in an excellent performance.

Other story lines on the night included Lebron James making his 20th All Star Game appearance, as well as my home favorite Jalen Brunson making his first All Star Game appearance.

The NBA season is about to get more and more important as we near the end of the season and the games mean so much more. Teams are getting key players back and some are finding their groove at just the right time.
