Games of the Week: March 18th – March 24th

This week’s matchups are getting closer and closer to playoffs, as both the NBA and NHL are nearing the end of the regular season. So we have some important seeding matchups as well as talent showcases

NBA

Denver Nuggets vs. New York Knicks: Thursday, March 21st @ 9 pm ET

This one may seem biased but hear me out on it. While there are a lot of “good” games this week, I think this matchup will show just how real the Knicks are.

They will be taking on the defending NBA champs in Denver and the Knicks are still a bit banged up, but if they can win this, it will show the Knicks are serious contenders. This game comes off a game where Miles McBride scored a career-high 29 points.

NHL

Boston Bruins vs. New York Rangers: Thursday, March 21st @ 7 pm ET

This week, I could choose two Rangers games that will undoubtedly be the most important games of the week. They take on the Panthers this Saturday, but the Bruins currently sit atop the NHL rankings.

The Rangers seem to be championship contenders, but to truly cement this status, it would be amazing for them to pull out a win against the Bruins. Or the Panthers for that matter.

MLB

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Diego Padres: Thursday, March 21st @ 6:05 am ET

Believe it or not, we have regular-season baseball. This game in all reality means very little, but it is a regular-season baseball game and the only one happening until next Thursday.

The Dodgers and Padres traveled to South Korea as part of the MLB’s World Tour and will come back early next week to finish out their spring camps.

UFC

UFC Fight Night: Mohammed Usman vs. Mick Parkin: Saturday, March 23rd @ 7 pm ET

The UFC will host a Fight Night in the UFC Apex this week and my favorite fight is the first on the card. It will be a true test of whether or not Mohammed Usman is UFC material.

He has looked good in his first three fights and we will get another look at him this weekend.
