A Little to the Left: Organization but Make it Cozy

A Little to the Left is another lovely puzzle game that I stumbled upon while searching for more cozy games.

Though it is a puzzle game, it is rather simple and straight forward. Each level contains a cute challenge with one to three different solutions depending on the level.

According to Steam:

“A Little to the Left is a cozy puzzle game that has you sort, stack, and organize household items into pleasing arrangements while you keep an eye out for a mischievous cat with an inclination for chaos.”

This game is one that I like to play in small spurts, I never feel pressured to finish.

Every once in a while I just enjoy sitting down and peeling stickers off fruit, organizing a drawer, or straightening frames.

There are also daily levels that you can complete to keep you coming back before or after you finish all 75 levels.

Every level is unique and I never felt like the creators were running out of ideas or repeating previous themes.

At certain points, I will admit I found some levels quite difficult, as I am not great at puzzles. But like any good puzzle game, there’s a hint feature.

The hint pages are just as cute as the levels themselves. You take the eraser and erase the marks on the page. This allows you to control the amount of the solution that you see so you don’t spoil the whole thing.

The art style is what makes this game cozy to me. Personally, as I stated previously, I don’t enjoy puzzle games.

The items and scenes are minimalistic and animated to look illustrated. Each item also have different sounds that accentuate the cozy atmosphere.

Overall, I truly can’t recommend this game enough. Though I’ve almost completed the game, I feel as though it is something I will go back to and replay at a later date.

If you’re looking for a game to play to relax, I urge you to try out A Little to the Left.
