I have always favored TV shows over movies because TV shows allow you more time to connect to the characters.<\/p>\n

One show that had me in a chokehold was Scandal.<\/p>\n

I knew the executive producer and creator of the show, Shonda Rhimes made amazing shows\u2026 but Scandal takes the cake.<\/p>\n

Synopsis:<\/h3>\n

Scandal is about Olivia Pope, who was essentially a public relations consultant for the White House.<\/p>\n

Due to different circumstances, she left her job at the White House to start her own firm.<\/p>\n

ABC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Olivia\u2019s job is to shield and defend the reputations of America\u2019s wealthy and elite.<\/p>\n

While Oliva and her team of \u201cgladiators\u201d are successful when it comes to correcting other people\u2019s problems\u2026 they often have trouble fixing their own problems.<\/p>\n

ABC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The show is filled with deceit, affairs, manipulation\u2026 and I am just scratching the surface here.<\/p>\n

The later seasons introduce the covert black-ops government agency, B613.<\/p>\n

This agency is run by Command and the agency specializes in assassination attempts that look like suicides and punishment.<\/p>\n

This powerful agency does not take orders from anyone, and that includes the President himself.<\/p>\n

Scandal has 7 seasons with 7-22 episodes per season.<\/p>\n

My Thoughts:<\/h3>\n

To be completely honest\u2026 I believe in Shonda Rhimes supremacy.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s baffling to me how she can come up with the storylines for these shows.<\/p>\n

Scandal is one of those shows that does not allow you to remember the entire storyline because so many things happen throughout it.<\/p>\n

I was living for the drama of Fitz and Oliva\u2019s \u201crelationship\u201d.<\/p>\n

Imagine being such an icon that you have the President of the United States wrapped around your finger\u2026<\/p>\n

That being said, I haven\u2019t even talked about the multiple love triangles and squares within this show.<\/p>\n

Scandal is a very complex show that will leave you begging for more episodes.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite characters is of course the wonderful Ms. Olivia Pope.<\/p>\n

Olivia is intelligent, hard-working, and somewhat kind of manipulative. She knows what she wants and will find a way to achieve it.<\/p>\n

Another honorable mention is Huck.<\/p>\n

Huck is reclusive, loyal and shy.<\/p>\n

He is the type of person who would follow Olivia into the sun just because she asked him nicely.<\/p>\n

Although he is a trained B613 agent, he cares a lot about people who are important to him.<\/p>\n

The Naiyah Rating:<\/h3>\n

All things considered; I will give Scandal a 5-star rating.<\/p>\n

The drama within this show is top-tier and this can be said about any Shonda Rhimes show in general.<\/p>\n

The show gives you exactly what you need, and then they add a little extra to keep you hooked.<\/p>\n

The characters are perfectly crafted, and the storylines are exceptional.<\/p>\n

Scandal is a wonderful show that you will have to pay attention to. Missing one episode could potentially leave you very confused.<\/p>\n

If you are looking for a binge-worthy show\u2026 I wholeheartedly suggest Scandal.<\/p>\n
