Okay back to the wrap-up! I know, it’s a lot. But I am determined to tell you all about my accomplishments. COSTUMES: Early this year I was tasked with being the costume designer for the Theatre departments MainStage production of\u00a0She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms. This was quite an experience as this was my first time designing a show but it was all online. It was such a challenge to have to design for a play that would be performed live via Zoom.<\/p>\n I found ways to be creative and sustainable through my designs. Adding fun elements of camp and fantasy that aided with the scripts clever writing. I ended up loving the final product. Of course, I will always be my biggest critic and would have loved to make changes and have a Broadway budget. Yet, for the resources that I had, I am proud of how it all turned out.<\/p>\n RECOGNITION: Hard work really does pay off. Even when I felt I was not doing the most or making any notable achievements, I had the greatest honor of being recognized for my efforts.<\/p>\n Firstly with the Communication department I received the Arthur R. Maytum Scholarship which was awarded to outstanding returning Communication students demonstrating academic excellence.<\/p>\n I won the Reconstructing Narratives Photo competition which I have previously spoken about a few blogs ago.<\/p>\n Part of the Performing Arts Company, I was nominated for PAC Awards voted by the students of the department for Best Costume Design and I won! I did not even know those were a thing.<\/p>\n Then I recently discovered that I received the Laurel Walford Costume Scholarship for my efforts within the Theatre Department and in the costume shop.<\/p>\n As I said in part one, I was honored with Resident Assistant of the month and Community Building Program of the month too!<\/p>\n Now I feel like I have said what I wanted to say. There probably is more that I want to talk more about but for now this is it. This is all that I have done this spring semester at Fredonia.<\/p>\n All while making new Drag content weekly, juggling personal life matters, and just trying to make the most of my college experience. Although at some points it was dreadful, I am so beyond happy of what I have done.<\/p>\n And I feel that my efforts this semester truly have paid off because I was given very excited news of an opportunity for next semester for Fallon Angel. I am not at the liberty to disclose this information YET.
