It presents the story of her coming out to her father, who also was gay and in the closet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Writer, Lisa Kron once told others the \u201cFun\u201d in Fun Home is short for Funeral. It\u2019s a sorrowful musical told in a beautiful way.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One Review from the Hollywood Reporter stated, \u201cPerhaps the most over-trafficked subject matter among contemporary American dramatists is the dysfunctional family.
