Do you find yourself looking for new music but end up having no luck? Well I have come across one of the most simple and effective ways to discover new tunes.
I was scrolling through the blog Soundafide, and I came across a post that recommended using the site Music-Map to get artist suggestions.
As someone who is constantly looking for different songs to listen to, it was pretty much destiny that I found this.
The best part is that all you have to do is visit the Music-Map site and then type in an artist in the search bar – that’s it.
From there the website does all the work, which includes giving you an extensive map consisting of interrelated bands and musicians based on what you typed in.
The first artist that I typed in was Still Woozy and I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of recommendations they provided me.
Another nifty part of this site is that is even groups the suggestions it gives you by similar music style. This makes it easier to predict how the music will sound before discovering the artist more in depth.
I wish I had found this site sooner because it would’ve saved me a lot of time spent sifting through songs which was rarely ever successful.
Make sure to subscribe to Soundafide if you enjoyed this kind of content as there are plenty of more tips and tricks on their site!
If you need me, I will be listening to new artists and songs for the rest of my existence since I’ll never have to worry about getting stuck in a music rut again. 🙂
