For any of my Western NY readers who enjoy thrifting, you’re going to want to check out Recollected!
Recollected is located in the heart of Fredonia, NY, and has one of the coolest vintage collections I’ve seen.
They just recently moved their location to Fredonia and I heard about them through some of my friends. From the one experience I have had there, I confidently can say that this is a legit thrift store.
Everything in the store is at least 20 years old, (which is what the store owner told me), and that is what makes the stores’ selection so unique.
One of the main reasons why I loved this store so much was because it’s a small business, and you could tell the owner put in the time to select good quality pieces.
When I went, I would pick up an item and the owner was able to tell me when and where it was from, which really embraces the novelty experience of shopping second-handed clothing. It’s almost like there is a story to every item in the store.
With all that being said, I definitely recommend checking out Recollected so you can find something cool while also supporting a local small business.
