Whenever the cashier asks you if you want your receipt, you should always say “yes”. Those will get you your money back.
A couple months ago, I asked a customer, “would you like your receipt today” and she replied with “oh yes of course”. She then pulled her phone out and took a picture of her receipt and said that she can now get a $50 gift card to Amazon.
I asked her how and she introduced me to Fetch Rewards. On Fetch, you can scan your receipts and earn points that can be redeemed in gift cards. When you reach 10,00 fetch points, you can redeem it for a $10 gift card.
For all of the online shoppers, don’t worry, you can scan your e-receipts on the app and you can connect your Amazon account to get extra points from those purchases.
For every scan, you will receive 25 points. Sometimes you can earn extra/ bonus points by purchasing certain products from certain stores, or if you spend certain amounts.
An example of a trip I did on September 15, to Walmart, I received 569 points by scanning my receipt. I earned 500 for buying a 6 count package of Cottonelle Toilet Paper, and 69 points for purchasing a product of Cottonelle.
On August 27, I received 1,000 points for buying Blue Diamond Almonds, as well as 25 points for scanning my receipt from Rite Aid. This was a really good deal not just because I love to eat almonds, but because they were on sale for $5.99 instead of their regular price of $9.99.
Before I go shopping and I create my list, I look to see if there are any products that will give me higher rewards, but if it exceeds my budget, I don’t go for it. The almonds were only purchased because I love them.
You can find Fetch Rewards on the App Store, scan the QR code above or you can use this link to sign up! https://fetchrewards.onelink.me/vvv3/referraltext?code=TKYAX2.
