As many of you may know, Black Friday was just a little bit ago and tomorrow is Cyber Monday. Personally, I am not a big Black Friday shopper, I prefer my online deals and I look to Amazon for exactly that. Alas, this year is not my year as my cards and accounts need to recover after this fatal weekend.
Personally, I didn’t do much shopping, but I was planning on making a purchase of an iPad. Since it is the end of the month, the advice I can give to you to start this new month of spending even more money is pay off your credit card, if you have one.
Starting a new month in debt is no fresh start. It will also impact your credit score negatively. Most credit card companies don’t have a maximum amount of times that you can make payments on your cards. Their only rule about making payments is that you can’t make more than three payments in the same 24 hour window.
Now onto the recovering aspect of this weekend. After you have made your payments to your credit card, put that puppy away and don’t touch it. Walk away from your wallet and relax. Watch a movie, make some food, take a nice hot bath, or take a huge nap.
After I made my payment to my credit card company, I sat down, crunched out my homework with a nice cold glass/ plastic cup of Pepsi. I have a lot to do but now I don’t have to worry about not paying my credit card bill.
After I am done with all of my homework, I am planning on popping some dino nuggets in my air fryer and sitting down and watching Hawaii Five-O. This is my way of recovering from not just a weekend of shopping, but also from a week of working my tail off in retail, no pun intended.
I suggest yall do the same, obviously if you don’t want to include the dino nuggets, you can substitute it, the same goes from the Pepsi, I hear a glass of wine works the same way.
Happy recovering everyone!
