Since last season, a lot of Islander fans have been skeptical of Kyle Palmieri as a player and if the trade for him a few seasons ago was worth it.

However, since his injury his stats have certainly shut fans up if they had any criticism left of him this season.

As the tweet above states, Kyle Palmieri has 22 points in the last 27 games with 9 of them being goals and all in all has come up huge in certain games over the past two weeks.

He has also been a huge part of the success of the Islanders second line of him, Brock Nelson, and Pierre Engvall which has been the Islanders best forward line, in my opinion.
