If you have watched the Islanders for the past decade, one can be argued that their #1 need for their forward core has been a true sniper that can shoot the puck with ease and contribute consistent goals.
William Dufour, a 21 year old from Quebec, PQ could be that player. He scored 56 goals in 66 games last year in the QMJHL and has 18 goals this year for the Bridgeport Islanders, which is the Islanders American Hockey League affiliate.
One of his 18 goals this season came tonight against the Belleville Senators, and you can see William’s lethal shot on display.
If William can keep up this production in Bridgeport, Long Island might finally get that true consistent scorer on their hands next season and beyond.
