Hating 101

• Yeooooo. Wassup with y’all. It’s getting nice out and I’m jacking the weather and I know y’all liking it too. Because of that, I definitely want to do more videos. But I decided to put a blog out for now to stay consistent.

 

• Today’s topic is going to be about vacation. Before I get into this though, let me say this: I’m not a vacation kind of guy. I like getaways, not vacation. The reason is because when I’m away for anything longer than about 5 days I start to get anxious. And I start to feel like I want to go home.

 

• So with getaways, I can be somewhere for 3-4 days and be able to get back to home feeling refreshed and ready to do whatever. But as I’m getting older I’m trying to change that and be more open with vacationing and staying somewhere for at least a week. At least.

 

• What I want to do here is tell y’all where my dream vacation places are as of right now. Before that though I’m going to try and see everywhere I’ve been already. And this is not even like getaways but just me tracking the places I’ve been so far.

 

• Canada (Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, basically all of Ontario)

 

• New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Rhode Island.

 

• Grenada and the Bahamas. Going to Jamaica as a baby doesn’t count because I don’t remember it.

 

• So 12 states at 19 years old isn’t that bad, but as you see all the states I’ve been to are East Coast. And honestly, I don’t have any inclination to go to the west coast for vacation. I’m really from New York…..off that strength I don’t like LA. So I’m not feening to go to Cali. I do want to go to Colorado to go to Aspen but that requires money I don’t have right now.

 

Chicago + Memphis + Houston

• These are tricky because I can see myself definitely just going to these places as getaways. But I wouldn’t mind going for maybe a week to either of these places.

 

• Chicago really gets my attention for the food. I’ve seen so much food that I want to try. But it’s not even like it’s super fancy food; but actually like more hood/local spots I want to try that I’ve seen on the internet.

 

• Harold’s Chicken and Jerk 48 are the main places. Aside from food; Chicago the city is actually beautiful if you AVOID the trenches at all costs.

 

• I just want to go to Memphis for the BBQ. Like that is genuinely it. No more no less.

 

• I was talking about Houston with Richh and Chyna the other day. And Houston got some great eats too. Definitely have to try Trill Burger. But I heard that Houston also had mad activities to do to keep you entertained so I wouldn’t mind. 

 

Peru and Ecuador

• These two places are definitely where I want to go and explore for sure. Hopefully on the same trip too. The idea really comes from Ocho and Eli, shoutout to the brothers. Anytime I’m with either of them and they talk about Ecuador I really get the notion to want to go. 

 

• As for Peru, I had Peruvian food for the first and only time in 6th grade and it was mad good. Been wanted to go since then. 

 

Tanzania/Kenya

• People who know me well, like very well, know that I love wildlife. And there’s almost no better place to experience that I feel like than Africa. I picked these countries because growing up these were where all the cool wildlife documentaries take place.

 

• Lions, leopards, rhinos, hyenas, and everything else. I want to see it all. But that flight is the only issue. Sitting for that long is damn near impossible for me unless I have about 12 books. Actually I’m lying, in addition to the books I’ll need YouTube. The one and only time I’d pay for WiFi on a flight.

 

Europe: Portugal, UK, Italy

• Europe is definitely somewhere I want to go. The UK would be the first stop. And I mean the whole UK: England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. My family supposedly has connections to Wales and England on both sides so I definitely have to go out there. And I want some real fish and chips.

 

• I want to go to Portugal for the vibe to be honest. Coastal city with great food and culture. It just seems like the coolest place.

 

• Italy is pretty much just for the food, pictures, and so I can walk around doing a Mario impression purposefully.
