- I definitely baited on the video I was been supposed to do. I was horsing can’t even lie to yall. Like I had every intention of shooting a video. And I sat down to eat. And it was over after that.
- But today will definitely be the vent session. I’m bout to get up here with yall and complain about mad different topics that I got on my mind or that just come up.
First
- So first thing first, everyone needs to stop wearing flare jeans. It’s not for everyone. Like for real for real. Some people definitely pull it off and pull it off well. BUT other people don’t make them look good at all. And I fake don’t get the point because who wants the cuffs of their pants touching the floor all the time. Especially if you have good feets on; why hide the feets?????????
- Plus people need to understand that just throwing on baggy or oversized clothes everyday, like every SINGLE day doesn’t make a good fit. Baggy clothes are definitely valid but you have to put it together.
- Same thing for the designer demons. Bro wearing designer clothes everyday is literally pointless. Like we get it, you spend a lot on clothes…..now what. Especially if you’re in college or if you don’t go out often. Like you’re buying all this for what???? We see you gang, we definitely see you.
- I know the “fit” experts are going to be on me but I dead don’t care. And even though I personally don’t be on that drip wave, I got friends that do and they too were saying the same thing. Shoutout to david and Jalen, some of the bro’s I know that are on their drip timing right now.
Second
- My second issue came from a convo I was having with Chyna and Taj like two days ago. I really realized that today’s kids are really doomed.
- Back in the day we used to really be outside as kids. Like outsideeeee. Bout to give you guys insight on how we used to be:
- We used to play basketball on the block using a tree branch in front of my crib as a hoop when we were too young to go to the park alone like 2010 and 2011 before they cut it down. This was before Jacob moved off the block so only originals like TJ know.
- We used to race up and down the hood on bikes and scooters. Used to come home with so many scraped knees and shin bruises from falling.
- 211 park used to be packed as soon as school finished or all day during the summer. It’s so crazy that I passed by when I was home from spring break and they remodeled all of the courts and NOBODY was even there. Nobody goes to PAC anymore either. Used to be in therefor the time limit, hide in the bathroom when they come check the wristbands, and sneak back in for the rest of the day. But I can’t blame them because they charging crazy now.
- Seaview was a movie. Just meeting random kids and striking one-day friendships was the best part. Then you go to the park the next time hoping you see them again so yall can play.
- Middle school days after school everyone used to mob. Khaliyah and Avery and everyone would walk to Rockaway to take the 6. Me, Nasir, Jorden and others would walk down Flatlands to go to the block or go with them to Rockaway. Everyone moved together.
- Even as I got a bit older, me and Havi used to walk up and down Ave L everyday after school or we going up Flatlands way by me. That one summer we were on bikes daily going everywhere you can name.
- Court street used to be the spottttttt. On any given Friday or Saturday that was the place to go. Had to get yourself a little bit of money in case yall went to Shake Shack to treat yourselves after the movies. Others used to go to Atlantic but I dead hated Atlantic. Still do.
- I said all of this to say that kids don’t do this anymore. Everyone is literally just on their phone or iPad from a super young age. To the point where they’re walking in the street and everyone’s head is just down. I didn’t even have a legit phone until I as like 12 or 13.
- No one is in the parks anymore or outside on their block or neighborhood or like really hanging out with their friends. I don’t know if to blame it on Covid messing up their growing up years or the technology but it’s just weird to see.
- And it’s like the middle school/high school age behavior has just got worse. I had peeped this past summer when I was on the phone with Brianna and just watching these kids get off the bus. Like I can admit that growing up we were deep, like really deep. But that was it. We weren’t super rowdy or distasteful. These kids are BAD KIDS. Like disrespectful and just loud. It makes me really think about when my mother used to tell me don’t be in public acting a fool.
Third
- I just feel like I have to get this off. I hate Flatbush. Like I hate Flatbush with passion. Genuine disgust.
- And I went to school in Flatbush. Right on that block I just posted above. And before that I was further up near prospect sides, and that was honestly even worse. I got family and friends in the bush. So this isn’t just hating to hate. Flatbush is dirty and crazy and congested and it stinks. Flatbush also inhabits a lot of the crashouts that are just ready to mess up someone’s day. I can’t stand people from Flatbush.
- I was just telling Greg this too. I hate Crown Heights. Now don’t get me wrong, I have love for crown heights for certain reasons or I rather say I got love for certain people in crown heights to be specific.
- But again, just like Flatbush, it’s just mad dirty. Not even just that; the blocks are long, the layout is weird, it’s literally built on a little hill, it’s so tiny and congested in terms of both walking and driving, and more crashouts. And also the gentrification is super crazy. One block might look like you’re downtown and the very next block looks like you’re in the ghetto.
- But yea, that’s all folks. See y’all soon.
