Due to the recent drama surrounding Selena and her not-as-relevant “competition” Hailey Bieber I decided to voice MY opinion in absolute support for Miss Selena girl. She has been and always will be superior and I will not stand Selena slander so do not read this if you feel negatively toward her…BYE!
ANYWAY, Selena is an accomplished actress, producer, and business women. You might have seen her on Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place, later Another Cinderella Story, Monte Carlo, Spring Breakers, Ramona and Beezus, and now Only Murders in the Building (also being an exec producer for it) but she originally started on Barney & Friends. She is an executive producer on 13 Reasons Why as well as her HBO Max cooking show Selena + Chef. On November 4th, 2022 she released Selena Gomez My Mind & Me on Apple TV which is, “After years in the limelight, Selena Gomez achieves unimaginable stardom. But just as she reaches a new peak, an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness. An intimate study which spans her six-year journey into a new light.” It was a beautifully tragic film regarding her life growing up and her stardom now, dealing with lupus, the drama surrounding her ex, etc.
What she is arguably most famous for now is her makeup brand Rare Beauty. “Rare Beauty is breaking down unrealistic standards of perfection. This is makeup made to feel good in, without hiding what makes you unique—because Rare Beauty is not about being someone else, but being who you are.” It is an incredible makeup brand that celebrates all skin colors and types, making women and men feel beautiful inside and out. All products are cruelty-free, vegan, paraben-free, dermatologist tested, and suitable for sensitive skin. I am personally a HUGE fan of the soft pinched liquid blush though I want to try all her products eventually!
I personally cannot say enough positive things about Selena Gomez and she has been one of my inspirations for a long time. She is so caring and gentle to all people even when she is involved in unnecessary drama. If you have not seen her documentary I highly suggest watching it before forming an opinion on what side you are on because she is truly too good for this world. Selena, I love you!
