As we have been in March which as you SHOULD know is Women’s History Month and the recent celebrations of March 8 which is International Women’s Day, I wanted this post to be about someone special who is the most women I could think of… Dylan Mulvaney!
As she just celebrated her 365th day of being a girl on March 13th I am honored to celebrate her success. She is a transgender rights activist known for detailing her gender transition in daily videos on TikTok. As of March 2023, she has over 10 million followers on TikTok, while her video series, Days of Girlhood, has received over one billion views. Born on December 29, 1996, in San Diego, California, She graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theater.
Dylan came out as trans during the pandemic and her life has been skyrocketing ever since then! She has made appearances on The Drew Barrymore Show, the Rainbow Room, the Grammy red carpet, and more. She has met and inspired amazing people like Paris Hilton, Kris Jenner, Laverne Cox, Coco Rocha, Barbie Ferarria, the D’amelio family, etc. She has spoken at the Forbes Power Women Summit, interviewed President Biden, hosted the Kate Spade fashion week show live stream, and in late February she accepted a Queerties Groundbreaker Award.
She has become a fast inspiration to me and millions of other people who identify as female or anyone who sees themselves in her. She has broken gender norms and is constantly fighting for the right to be understood and accepted into this harsh world for herself and for everyone else. She is an amazing person and I am honored to be witnessing someone so deserving of success! She has a store if anyone would like to check it out dylanmulvaney.com!
