Hi there! I’m Aidan, the main editor and writer for GamingGuru! I’m a senior in college, and decided to start this page for a couple of reasons.

This is a class project, and the goal is to actively post and participate in a site. However this is a a passion project that i have been thinking about making for years. Often i watched and read articles from major news outlets and was disappointed every time.

This pushed me to make GamingGuru, where i talk about news in the esports community, but from the perspective of someone in the community. This was we can joke, make commentary, and build a community that’s not just a corporate robot.

I aim to make this site a diverse home of esports, where we cover major and minor esports alike. From Counter-Strike, Rivals of Either, Dota2, to Smash Bros, we want to create a welcome and fun place for all fans.
