march reading wrap up!

Spread the love

Welcome to my March reading wrap up where I’ll tell you all the books I read this month!

I try (and fail) to stick to a TBR list each month (even though I do create one).

And I totally blame it on TikTok recommendations and Facebook ads I can’t resist.

Despite not reading exactly what I set out to read, I did read five books this month! This brings my yearly total to 14.

Which is perfectly on schedule for my yearly goal of 50 books!

As always, this is spoiler free.

And if you’re looking to pick up any of these books, please, please search up trigger warnings!

I’ll list the title of the book, where/how I read it, my star rating, and a brief description of why I rated it that way.

So, let’s talk about the books I read in March!

  • Rule Number Five by Jessa Wilder

⭐⭐ STARS.

I read this through Kindle Unlimited, and it was a book I fell for a scene aesthetic on TikTok.

Honestly, the execution fell flat for me, and I couldn’t connect with the FMC.

  • Kiss Now, Lie Later by C.W. Farnsworth

⭐⭐⭐ STARS.

Another book I read on Kindle Unlimited, and I truly LOVE this author.

But this book was a bit boring. It took me too long to get through, but I did love the main couple!

  • Royals by Rachel Hawkins

⭐⭐⭐⭐ STARS.

I own the physical copy of this book, and it had been sitting untouched on my shelf for far too long.

And this one was ACTUALLY on my TBR!

It was originally supposed to be read in February but … shh.

And I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting to! I just wish the main couple was developed a bit more.

  • In Your Pucking Dreams by Sheridan Anne

⭐⭐⭐ STARS.

I read this on Kindle Unlimited, and, yet again, found it through TikTok aesthetic videos.

I didn’t have the worst time reading this, but I also didn’t have the best time.

There were a few plot holes and internal misogyny that needed to be left in the past.

  • Six Summers to Fall by C.W. Farnsworth

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ STARS.

If you saw my review of Six Summers to Fall, then you already know how much I enjoyed this book!

There’s my March reading wrap up!

Five books this month with an average rating of 3.4 stars!

Let me know what books YOU read in March! Hopefully in April I can stick to my TBR.

But I make no promises.

Stay tuned for my next post on Wednesday!
