As a huge fan myself, nothing can quite compare than walking into a store being surrounded by so many stories featuring your favorite heroes.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Queen City Bookstore is one of the biggest comic book stores located in Buffalo, NY.<\/div>\n
The store is known for its selection of comic books and items related to the comics.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It has been a family owned business for the past 50 years and is currently ran by Emil Novak.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I was lucky enough to do an interview with Novak about running the store and his talk about his story with the comics and superheroes!<\/div>\n

When did you first start getting into the world of comics and superheroes?<\/div>\n
In 1969 when our store opened up.<\/b><\/div>\n

Was there one hero in particular that you\u00a0liked or grew attached too?<\/div>\n
I have always enjoyed what Captain America stands for.<\/b><\/div>\n

What made you decide to open a comic book store?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

My father first started the store, I just grew into it as I got older. In 1978 I became a more business oriented man.<\/b><\/div>\n

Do you have a favorite Marvel or DC superhero?<\/div>\n
I always like Batman, and for Marvel Captain America.<\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
What makes them your favorite character?<\/div>\n
Batman is an unrelenting human, his desire in truth is important. Captain America stands for the true ideals of our great country.<\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Are you a fan of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) or DCEU (DC Extended Universe)?<\/div>\n
I enjoy both. The MCU is well balanced, sadly it’s too comical at this time. I enjoy the DCEU for it’s authentic style with superheroes.<\/b><\/div>\n

Is there anything that you\u2019ve learned from being a fan of comics or superheroes?<\/p>\n

I<\/b> like the fact that in comics truth and justice should always prevail.<\/b><\/p>\n
