The old fashioned way. The hard way.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sure, there are planes and trains and buses and cars and bikes, but there\u2019s just something about going for a hike. For a long walk, for a short stroll, to relieve your mind of tolls. To soak in the surroundings, focus on everyday things. You might see the change of the leaves, the blooming of flowers, the golden hues of the sunset hours. You might see a butterfly flutter on by or a squirrel scutter up a tree so it can be in its own world. You never know what you\u2019ll see when you purposely take it slow to get to places you want to go.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lousy, off-the-top-of-my-head \u201cpoetry\u201d aside, here\u2019s a podcast about walking and why some of us enjoy it.
