For my first story back from an extremely long and stressful summer/school year/life, I decided to start with a game I recently started playing.
So drum roll, please!
The game of the week is…
“Lethal Company”
My fucking GOD. This game has made me scream and made my heart beat so fast that I thought it would break through my skin and start doing jumping jacks in front of me. I wouldn’t be able to see it because I would be fucking dead, but you get the point.
Anyway, if you want a scary but fun game to play with your friends, you should play this game.
I started playing this game back in September and I think I played with some people for about a week straight. I don’t regret it one bit because I am a lover of scary games. I love getting my adrenaline running and my heart racing. I don’t like the after-effects, where I feel like I could pass out or pass away, but it’s worth it. (that sounds so bad omg please don’t take that out of context).
ANYWAYS if you guys haven’t heard of “Lethal Company,” I understand. I didn’t either but my boyfriend introduced it to me and asked to play with him and his friends so I said yes. No regrets, none at all.
But to give you a description of “Lethal Company,” it’s a cooperative survival-horror game where you work for a company and have to meet a quota to survive. You go to these different moons which have items you can find and scrap for some money. On these moons, there are some scary fucking monsters.

Yes, this game is available on Steam and if you want to play it, you HAVE to play with friends. Here are some reasons why:
1) makes it much more fun
2) makes everything easier (so you can be lazy)
3) you can scared shitless with one another (bonding moment)

I’ll tell you a bit more about this game.
Background
You, you sad poor soul, work for the Company. Your job entails one thing; collect scrap from abandoned moons to meet the Company’s profit quota. You can gain money and from there, buy things like different suits, teleporters (to teleport your friend’s destroyed corpse), and some other things as well.
It’s pretty simple and there’s one thing you must never do. DO NOT MISS QUOTA! You will get fired (they will kill you).
When you play with friends, it makes it easier to meet the quotas. You can chat with them when near them and see their location from the ship’s computer. If they aren’t moving, well sorry for your loss.
Once you have met a quota, you get another quota. You keep doing this until you can’t meet it, so ultimately, you die anyway.
Moons
There are several moons (about 13) to visit that range in difficulty, items to scrap, and monsters that can spawn and devour your fucking body. I won’t go too into detail but if you want to know a bit more, you can take a look at this Wiki page, https://lethal-company.fandom.com/wiki/Moons
There are 3 different difficulties on these moons.
Easy
Just as it’s sad, it’s easy. On these moons, they are pretty safe but have very little loot and a small amount of monsters.
The easy moons are:
41-Experimentation
220-Assurance
56-Vow
Intermediate
On these moons, they are a bit more dangerous and tend to have a little more loot and monsters than the easy moons.
These intermediate moons are:
21-Offense
61-March
20-Adamance
Hard
Self explanatory. This is hard. They experience outside weather conditions, dangerous monsters but a lot of loot.
These hard moons are:
85-Rend
7-Dine
8-Titan (I fucking hate this map)
68-Artifice
5-Embrion
44-Liquidation
Items to scrap
These items range from gold bars to stop signs to soccer balls rolling around the moon. Now some of these items, you can use to help save yourself or for you to use in general.
For example, a stop sign. You can use these to FUCKING KILL THOSE MONSTERS. You can also use it to kill your friends but you didn’t hear it from me.
Flashlights can be bought on your ship and I can promise you, that you will want one of these. I swear. They can be scrapped for money too but I would definitely not sell these.
Monsters
There are loads of different monsters. I won’t mention all of them (keep it a little interesting for you), but I’ll mention some of my favorites (I hate all of them).
Coil-Head
This monster is so silly. Like actually I laugh. This motherfucker is like a mannequin with short arms, a destroyed torso and their face is so funny looking (looks like they are screaming).
How does it kill you? If you are not looking at it, it will move so fast and literally kill you. So if you are playing with friends, try to have one of them look at them (choose someone you trust).
Masked
This motherfucker is so silly, I swear guys I can’t help but laugh. If you pick up this mask DO NOT HOLD IT TO YOUR FACE. There’s a good chance it will take over you and then it can go and kill your friends.
Old Bird
I actually hate this monster so much like OH MY GOD. There is nothing anyone could say to convince me this monster is not the scariest thing ever.
They have this light spotlight and will use it to find you. Once they do, they will start launching rockets at you. If you are too close to them, they can and most likely burn you alive.
Eyeless Dog
Yeah, I also hate these bitches. Like actually fuck y’all. If they catch your ass, good luck. You are now their personal chew toy and will bite your ass and shake back and forth (which ultimately kills you).
How to survive playing with friends:
The best advice I could give y’all, play with people you like. Another one, PLAY WITH PEOPLE YOU TRUST.
Playing with people who you think might get you killed, will most likely have you killed. Believe me, I know.
That doesn’t mean you couldn’t be a little deceiving.

This is probably the funniest clip I have of this game. Sadly, you can barely hear me since I was still setting up my clipping software but if you listen closely, you can hear “please, please, please.”
There is a lot more information I wish I could share with all of you, but what’s more fun than not knowing everything about this game? All in all, this is one of the funniest horror games I’ve ever played. It’s best played with lots of friends and even better when some of them have never played before.
This game could have you up all night and trust me, it has for me.
