Ingredients:
- 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (such as parsley, oregano, thyme)
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, onion powder and paprika
- Fresh herbs, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Mixe oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, dried herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the in a small bowl salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them on a plate or cutting board.
- Brush the olive oil mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, covering both sides.
- Place the fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket if using skin-on salmon. If using skinless salmon, place them directly in the basket.
- Arrange the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving a little space between each fillet for air circulation.
- Air fry the salmon for 10-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until they are cooked through and flake easily with a fork. If your fillets are thinner, check them around the 8-minute to avoid overcooking.
- Once done, carefully remove the salmon fillets from the air fryer using tongs or a spatula.
- Serve the air-fried salmon immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the fish. You can also garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
