Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, or any of your favorite spices
- Your choice of dipping sauce (ranch, blue cheese, barbecue sauce, etc.)
Instructions:
- Prep the Wings:
- If the wings are whole, separate them into drumettes and flats. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which helps achieve crispiness.
- Season the Wings:
- In a bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, the seasonings you like. Be generous with the seasoning to ensure flavorful wings.
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Arrange the Wings:
- Once the air fryer is preheated, arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking. You may need to cook them in batches if your air fryer is small.
- Air Fry the Wings:
- Cook the wings at 380°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Cooking time may vary depending on the size of your wings and the efficiency of your air fryer. Make sure they’re cooked through and golden brown.
- Check for Doneness:
- To ensure the wings are fully cooked, you can use a meat thermometer to check that they’ve reached an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Serve:
- Once the wings are done, transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
