If you love true crime like I do, then there’s a good chance you also love true crime documentaries.
True crime documentaries have always been a favorite of mine, and recently they’ve been getting more popular than ever. Netflix specifically have been coming out with a lot new and exciting documentaries in the last few years that people have been raving about.
These type of documentaries typically follow a true crime story of a serial killer or killer from the past. Sometimes documentaries use a series of interviews and real photos and videos from the time, or some chose to use various actors and actresses to recreate what the crime would’ve been like to give the audience more of a visual.
Either way that a true crime documentary is set up, a lot of people tend to really enjoy them. I think documentaries like these have gotten so popular lately because they can be very scary and unsettling, and then knowing that it all actually happened makes it even more eerie for most people.
