Are you usually a person who likes to go out and get coffee rather than make it in your own home? If your answer to that was yes, so am I.
Although it can take a toll on my bank account and wallet, I love the feeling of rewarding myself with coffee, whether it be from local coffee shops or big name stores like Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts.
Since I’m a college student and I’m on a campus, it makes it easier for me to have that privilege of not making my own coffee and using my meal plan to get it instead. However since the pandemic hit, it can be harder to get coffee or even make yourself some if you’re quarantined or self isolated.
I’m currently in that situation and quarantined and I’m questioning to myself how I will even have coffee. I mean it’s not like I drink coffee everyday…. right? I hope you caught on with the sarcasm.
If you’re not on a college campus like me and you are able to quarantine in your own home, I would say the best way to stick to your coffee drinking is by using your at home machines. I believe coffee machines like the Kureig, Nespresso, and Mr. Coffee are all worth the hype and the purchase. Especially in the time that we are living in, when it’s safer to be at home.
But, if you really can’t be without your Starbucks, food delivery apps like DoorDash are always an option, because you can choose for the driver to leave it right at your doorstep for you. That’s less work for us.
In the mean time, I will keep you all updated on my quarantine coffee journey and more unique blog post updates during this unusual time for me.
