How I Make My Coffee At-Home

While being in the comfort of my own home, I enjoy waking up in the mornings and making coffee for myself.  It’s definitely my favorite part of the morning since I am not an early bird.

I never really stick to the same old thing everyday when making it though.  I go through phases where I’m obsessed with making my coffee iced or just leaving it plain and hot.  And, there’s usually never the same creamers in the fridge either.

At home, my family and I use and share a Keurig coffee machine. K-cups are the most easy move for us, since we all drink coffee.  Most of the time, our family purchases Tim Horton’s brand K-cups.  Where I’m from, there’s no Tim Horton’s around us.  I know, it’s tragic.  However, on the occasion, we sometimes get other brands like Maxwell House or Dunkin Donuts.

Typically in the morning, I take out my reusable cup and I like to put caramel drizzle/syrup on the inside of the cup to add flavor.  After that, I put my ice in if I’m in my phase where I like iced coffee.  Then it’s time to put the K-cup in and wait for it to brew.

To top it off, I always add some creamer or milk.  My favorite creamers to add are the International Delight Sweet Cream and Southern Butter Pecan, and the Coffee Mate French Vanilla.
