To preface this post, I would like to let you know I am a bit of a makeup hoarder.<\/p>\n

I definitely could\u2019ve thrown away more makeup than I did, but I often find it difficult to part ways with makeup.<\/p>\n

However, here are a few products that are broken, empty, expired, or I just simply don\u2019t use anymore.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mascaras<\/p>\n

\"\"I first wanted to get rid of the mascaras that I have that I don\u2019t use.<\/p>\n

I love using Maybelline\u2019s Great Lash mascara, so I had no reason to keep this tester-sized Benefit mascara or the Ulta one.<\/p>\n

I believe both of these were given to me or came in one of those bundles from Sephora.<\/p>\n

Either way, I literally never use them, and I think the Benefit one expired awhile back.<\/p>\n

As for the Ulta mascara, I tried using it a couple times, but I found the formula to be pretty chunky and hard to work with.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Broken brushes and old sponges<\/p>\n

\"\"These brushes broke probably broke over a month ago, but I continued to use them anyways.<\/p>\n

Since then, I\u2019ve gotten some new ones from Marshalls, but I still never got rid of these.<\/p>\n

These brushes lasted over a year, so I think their time is done. I did try to glue them back together before just purchasing new ones, but they ended up breaking again.<\/p>\n

The sponge is also pretty old, and I am currently using a new one I got a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n

These were just taking up unnecessary room in my makeup bag at this point.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Empty concealer<\/p>\n

\"\"The only reason I kept this empty Maybelline Age Rewind concealer was because I used to use the little bit of product left to prime my eyelids or to create mediocre cut creases.<\/p>\n

I haven\u2019t been super into eye shadows recently, so I haven\u2019t been using the tiny bit of product left.<\/p>\n

Also, I have a practically full one I got awhile back.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Liquid highlight and lipstick<\/p>\n

\"\"Ever since COVID-19, liquid lipstick just doesn\u2019t go well with masks.<\/p>\n

I also have never been a huge fan of liquid lipstick because I hate the way it feels on my lips. This one from Ulta is super tacky and sticky, and I have used it once ever I think.<\/p>\n

As for the e.l.f. liquid highlighter, this is probably at least two years old, and the product has started to separate in the container.<\/p>\n

Moisturizers<\/p>\n

\"\"I got this Clinque hydrating jelly from Marshalls, but after I got it, I felt like it didn\u2019t work as good as I expected it to.<\/p>\n

With the brand being Clinque, I expected better. However, I think most items makeup\/skincare items from places like Marshall and T.J. Maxx are expired, which explains what makes them affordable.<\/p>\n

The other moisturizer is from Walmart. It isn\u2019t a horrible moisturizer, but it isn\u2019t anything great. Since purchasing it, I\u2019ve found some better skincare items, and it is practically empty anyways.<\/p>\n
