I bought water-based graphic eyeliners from Amazon

Yes — I realize I am a bit late to the graphic liner trend.

However, I have been dying to get some for a while now, but I never knew where to look.

I haven’t seen any drugstore graphic liners come out yet. But while scrolling on TikTok (yet again), I saw someone talking about some from Amazon.

The liners are from Maydear, which is a brand I’m unfamiliar with. This made it a bit risky for me to purchase these, but the product was rated a solid 4.5 stars.

There are six liners that come in a pack, and you can choose between the “light” colors, which are more pastel or the “dark” colors, which are a bit deeper and brighter.

I decided to purchase the light pack, which retails for $18.99. I feel as though this isn’t a bad deal in the slightest. When you do the math, each pot of liner is about $3.00.

The pack comes with a tiny brush, but I decided to also purchase a brush set.

The Dogie Lyn brushes are specifically meant for gel liner, and the pack of three retailed for $7.99.

Once the products came in the mail, I immediately went to swatch the colors on my hand.

But upon reading the packaging, there weren’t really any instructions on how much water to use.

I was afraid of mixing too much water into the liners, but I figured out pretty easily to start with less and add more if needed. I was impressed with the brightness of the colors and how easy application was.

Overall, I think for the price point these products work great. I love that I can spice up my makeup with some easy line work that makes everything look so much more interesting.

The brushes also work great, and I recommend if you purchase the liners, that you also get some brushes.

The only complaint that I have about the product so far is that after time, the liners tend to crack a bit. But I don’t particularly mind too much.

In my next blog post, I will go more in depth with some of the looks I’ve created so far.
