I wear makeup more days that not, and I, as most people do, have my go-tos.
There are certain products that I pick up every day and use constantly.
That doesn’t necessarily mean they are the best products on the market, but for me, they have seemed to work well enough. This is just my personal opinion on these products.
If you absolutely hate one of these products and find that it doesn’t work for you, that is okay too.

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara
After regularly spending $20 on mascara in high school, I suddenly came to the realization that it was pretty stupid to be wasting $20 on a bottle of black goop.
So, I decided to try out the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara because my mom has used it for years.
I love that the brush is curved to make application easy. I also think the brush does a great job of separating my lashes while coating each one evenly.
I personally love this mascara and think it is the best mascara I have ever used — even when comparing it to $20 ones I have used in the past. The best part is that it retails for $6.49.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation
In middle school, I always used the Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream Skin Clearing Perfector.
This Covergirl foundation is a bit reminiscent of that BB cream.
It is a super lightweight while also being a buildable foundation.
It retails for about $9.98 (subject to change depending on where you buy it), and I have personally already gone through two tubes.
I do think the shade range could be expanded to both more darker and lighter shades since there are currently only 14 shades.
I personally use the lightest shade available, which is 510 Porcelain.
I think right now this type of foundation is in because of its natural, dewy finish. I prefer it much more that my old Clinique foundation, especially because in public people can’t see half of my face anyways.

Milani Rose Powder Blush
I was never super into blush until I used the beloved Nars Orgasm blush.
I got a tiny tester of the blush somehow and used it until it fell apart.
When I was looking to purchase the regular size version of the product, I realized it was $30. I immediately was just like, “Nope… I’m good.”
A bit after this incident, blush started to become trendier than highlighter in the beauty world.
That was when I saw that apparently Milani had a pretty good dupe of the orgasm blush for only $8.99.
I bought it, and it is safe to say I really like the product. I personally use shade 11 Blossomtime Rose.
I think it is a pretty good replacement of the Nars blush for the price point. It is easy to blend, and I really love the color. I also love how long lasting it is on my face.
Also, the Nars blush only has 4.8g of product while the Milani blush has 17.0g — about four times more product for a fraction of the price. That is a winner in my book.
