Attempting to follow one of @marthalynnn’s eyeshadow tutorials

I have recently been wanting to do a few looks inspired by @marthalynnn’s TikTok.

If you are unfamiliar with who Martha is, I recommend that you check out my blog post from last week.

While scrolling through some of her looks, I decided to try out one that resembled a blue sky with clouds.

Her original tutorial can be found here.

I knew that this one would be a bit challenging for me, but I decided to try anyways.

Laying down the base of the blue eyeshadow was no problem, and I used tape to create a sharp outer edge.

I used a regular blue and a lighter blue shade to blend the shadow upward.

The tricky part, however, was drawing on the clouds.

Martha used a small, rounded brush and concealer to create the illusion of clouds.

I attempted to do this as well, but I had a fluffier round brush which made this process a bit harder.

The clouds can be shaped however you want though, and they really don’t need to be perfect.

I used a pretty light coverage concealer, so after a few hours, it seemed like the clouds faded into nothingness.

I would recommend using a more full coverage concealer and even some white eyeshadow to put on top.

Martha added a purple shimmer and a dark blue wing, but I switched up the look a bit.

I decided to add some white eyeliner on my waterline and a silver shimmer in my inner corner. I also added on some of Ardell’s Wispies glue-on lashes.

Overall, I still feel like this look is super cute and fun. However, I wish I had a better brush to add on the clouds with.

I might attempt this look again with a better brush and better concealer.
